Providing Sanctuary for Ukrainians Fleeing War - Useful Resources
The government have launched a scheme to enable individuals to bring people fleeing the war in Ukraine to the UK, with potential to house refugees in their homes.
We’re sure this may appeal to some of our wonderful followers. We’d like to encourage anyone who’s interested in hosting refugees to firstly seek advice and register with one of the organisations that are well established in this area as it’s so important that any relationship is entered into with as much information and knowledge as possible.
Refugees at Home are an amazing charity who’ve been working putting hosts together with refugees for many years.
There is also this very informative video of an online event which over 8,000 people joined, which gives lots of information for those keen to know more about the practicalities of the Ukrainian Sponsorship Scheme.
